I am going to see David Sedaris tonight! He's giving a performance/reading at the new Galliard Center tonight in downtown Charleston. Dinner out with friends beforehand. Here's to literary fun, all you book geeks know what I mean!

I've seen him twice and loved him both times. Did he recommend a book?

His recommendation was "Ghettoside" by Jill Leovy. He said it's non-fiction that reads like a novel, very moving, but definitely not an uplifting book. My jaw still hurts from laughing so much. This is my 3rd time seeing him and he never disappoints.
