would you ever say a book changed your life? like it made you see the world differently, or opened you up to something you love, or changed your view on something?

for me, I think the hunger games was such an eye opener, not only to the world of reading, but to how corrupt and cruel the world can be. it’s such an important book and it’s scary to see how the world is like it today

joyce for real. i genuinely love the hunger games so much, the fact they are banning it just shows how insecure they are. they are literally banning all/most dystopian books😭

ChildOfGod💜🙌🏽 (for God I live and for God I die) ~ in my Christian pop era Yes the Summer of Yes by Courtney Walsh. It really helped me with my perfectionism and realizing I can have fun and work hard and love both instead of keeping myself from life’s joys by not taking healthy risks.

Emma Jo They Turned the World Upside Down has changed my life in how I value the Bible. Highly recommend!!!!

And basically anything by C.S. Lewis… he is such a huge inspiration.

And Andrew Peterson!

Jacquelyn 💐 {This Rapunzel Reads} [Jesus Christ, my Living Hope] Absolutely!! All the Lost Places changed my life in just the beauty of God’s creation!! That’s the first one to come to my mind! I’m sure there are others…lol 😂

mostly every book I've read has left a piece of itself with me

lj ♡ i genuinely think reading blended by sharon draper at the age of 10 opened my eyes to structural racism. and also speak by laurie halse andersen but with sa/rape culture. oh and loveless by alice oseman for making me feel seen.
