I’m just super irritated with the pacing of this book. It feels like entire chapters are missing. It took them 3 days of travel on horseback to get to scarlata. They arrived, did a few things and the chapter ended. The very next chapter they were back at the golden city? How?? Where?? When??? The horses left. Did they magically arrive again? I’m so confused.
