John Madden was only 32 when he became Raiders head coach!

I am a big fan of sports memoirs and histories (especially baseball). It's nice to read about football, a sport about whose history I have very little knowledge. This author's enthusiasm makes the topic interesting, though he endless cheerleading make become tiresome before the end.
