Can you have an angry Mary Sue who stands up for herself? Is that a thing?

Switching to ebook because the narration is insufferable. It's like listening to Annie Edison in a Santa dress but instead of trying to be sexy, she's trying to make you feel REALLY sorry for her. I think she might read the entire book out of breath. Thank god for libraries. In other news... I think the purpose of this book might be to make me feel bad for the fantasy Nazis? oh no.

I'd rather listen to a screen reader.
