This has been the longest Prologue that I've ever read in a Star Trek novel, BUT it did have a LOT to setup...for this book, carrying over a large battle from the ending of the previous book.
Phew. That was intense. A lot has been set in motion, and a lot has been revealed. Great start of this new adventure.

I know that I should finish the book, but I need to go to bed, too. The bed has just won. I will finish the last bit...in the morning. I am tempted to stay up, but I need to get a good night's sleep, tonight.

There are a LOT of storylines that are coming together at the early point in this book. I am touched by Cassidy and Benjamin's predicament. They love each other, but can it last? I'm hoping it will.
