honestly what I’m getting is that we as a society reminisce of a time where we were community based like the 50’s/60’s but that sense of community is still with us. Also we have nostalgia over something that didn’t really exist, like every neighborhoods knowing each other well enough and PTA meetings. Social media is smoke and mirrors of us actually connecting with people… slay boots

lowkey jumping into this after so long and not really remembering what I read before but I want to finish it lmaoo.

I stay forgetting about this book… I’m gonna start a new one bc I have it on me but imma come back girl don’t worry

poor monkey babies :( um yea loneliness is sold to us bc we’re easier to control that way

she’s gagging me with the truth about loneliness. I went into this book thinking I’m not lonely I have people around me and it’s such a bigger problem than I thought it was… so kinda scary
