I HATE romantasy but I actually really loved this. I wouldn’t be surprised if you love it or hate it!

I was very hesitant to start this series it wasn't calling to me at all but eventually I DID and have been obsessed since. I'm now almost done book 3....I tried it both as audio and as reading, I even tried both the full cast and just the regular. Weirdly enough for this first book I liked the regular audio but for the 2nd and 3rd book I've been loving the full cast, dunno why maybe because it was a bigger cast to listen to, not sure......good luck!

I don’t love it but don’t hate it so far. But I dislike Feyre so much I feel like Sarah J. Maas has put us both in one giant T-shirt to try to make us get along.

Sammy and Kristine, I'm happy to hear you've enjoyed it!! There's no denying that it's beloved! I think some of my issue might be the acting in the full cast version, and I might switch to the regular audiobook (bless libraries and the Libby app 💜). I also was very annoyed by Feyre's family but she is leaving them behind and absconding to the fairy land so maybe I won't have to hear about them anymore.
