Adam and his team won the their basketball game even though their two best players were out. To celebrate he went out to eat with his best friend Barry. When they got to the place they saw their bully, Kase Kinshaw. Kase saw them and came up to start a fight with them. Adam shoved Kase and then Kase started punching Adam. That's when Barry kicked Kase and Kase fell down in pain. Then the security guards tackled Barry

Adam plays his first game with his travel basketball team. They won the game and he stayed at Devin's, his teamate's house. Adam starts to get more stressed about many things. One thing is that Carli won't talk to him. Another is that Khalil hasn't been answering people's calls or texts.

One of the themes of this book is belonging. Adam was a immigrant from Poland who was adopted. At first, he had no friends and he felt like he didn't belong. As he met more and more people he started making more friends and feeling like he belonged.

When Adam had basketball practice they were quickly moving around, shuffling their feet, and jumping. It could be portrayed as a horizontal view of the court which makes it easier for the audience to see what's happening. The hoops would need to be on the sides of the stage and the ball has to be dribbled on a wooden floor to replicate the sound.

Adam was invited to an AAU team's basketball tryouts. I knew he was going to make the team because he was extremely good at basketball and had been practicing for hours every day.
