This is a reread. I like bed this book back in the day and recently was wondering if I liked it because I liked the topic or because of the writing. It is the writing although I enjoy the topic as well. It came out a few months before The Devil Wears Prada and is by far a superior novel. Thus far Vig is considering participating in a plot to overthrow her Anna Wintour type editor.
