I’m really flying through this book!!!
I feel bad for cursing Samantha because I didn’t know she was dead, still terrible but RIP I guess. Her feelings were valid, her actions were just terrible.
anyways, I love this book and will be getting it to keep on my shelf. there are plenty of places I can see myself coming back to so far regarding community, self acceptance and the pain and joys of puberty #2

I don’t think I have ever had my experiences reflected back at me like this. I continue to deconstruct gender, unravel and reconstruct my own view of self in the most surprisingly affirming ways. I look forward to being in deeper community with trans men, trans masc folks and those whose masculinity is central to their gender identity. we use different words to affirm our intergenerational experiences & thats okay
