Yes, I know that he has brown eyes but Alex sounds like exactly like Keanu Reeves and I'm glad that you felt same way. :))

It's okay Jill. I'm at work and it seems I'll be here at least at 8 p.m. so when I have time to go back reading, it will be quite late. :)

I can say that I'm trying to stay calm. My father-in-law loves animals very much, esp. cats. His backyard is full of cats. They all know meal time and wait there. :)
I barely walk out there when all of them there but I'm better according to past years. :)

Actually, I am afraid of they will attack me. Otherwise, I am not afraid of other animals that much. For example, insects are not much problem for me.
And you know, we have lots of ownerless cats and dogs. They can be aggressive sometimes. :)

We are in the middle of the sring but weather is quite cold last 2 weeks. It's okay for me but my boys getting ill. So I,indirectly it affects me too. :)

I've just finished ch 4. too.

Imo, the hero, Alex is really quite different other heroes, SEP used to create. He sounds really rude and he seems mean all the things he said. What do you think about it?

Daisy is a sweetheart! She is like a pure thing... I think, she is the best heroine so far SEP characterized.

I highlighted so much thing, I don't which one of them to share. Even some of them sounds cruel, still they have a humor in it.
I'm sharing one of the funny moments in the book. :)


"No, of course not," she said hastily. "When I refer to intimidation, I'm alluding to your threats and that"—she took a deep breath—"that whip."

"What about it?"

"I know a little about aberrant behavior. If you have sadistic tendencies, I'd appreciate it if you'd tell me right now instead of just hinting around."

"We're both adults, and there's no reason to pretend you don't understand."

"I'm afraid you're going to have to spell it out."

She couldn't believe how obtuse he was being. "I'm referring to your hints of—of—sexual perversion."

I almost read all of the books she wrote. Although, other heroes were mean too, l think Alex is the hardest one the find to soft spot in him.

All the scenes you shared also, l highlighted too. They are together very fun to read. :))

I am planning to read some in lunch time. Otherwise, this book will take much time to finish. :))

Oh I completly forgot him. you're absolutley right. Though, I can't remember much, I still remembered that he was somehow cruel. Yet, I remember that romance in that book was very good. :)

I don't like circur either, Jill. Even human performces too. I totally agree about animals' sutiations and how people treat them. Yet, it doesn't affect my love of the book because seh somehow shows us, how animals live in bad conditions at circus.
I don't know why but I find similarities between animals and children. Maybe, all of them pure and vulnerable until some human ruin that purity.

This is a very beautiful creature, Jill and there is dignity even in his posture.
Hmm his eyes remind me someone but I can't be sure. :)
