imagine a scenario where you know a train wreck is going to happen but it’s still miles away and you are tied down to the tracks so you have to not only witness the train crash but also be run over by said train and there is nothing you can do to stop this the train wreck is incoming and you cannot look away. yeah that’s how it feels to reread the mask falling

listen we all love a good “who did this” scene but him asking for consent before he even looks + the way nakedness isn’t inherently sexualized in this book series is something i want to see more of in fantasy (and fiction in general)
