I do hate formulaic writing. Is there an outline that writers use to write these Christmas romance stories? Start with a couple that NEVER in any world/alternate reality would actually be a couple, then make one be an idiot, not check a weather report before traveling, shocked to discover there's a snowstorm in Northeast US ... AT CHRISTMAS ... delaying his attempts to get home to Toronto, etc. ...

@Gabi, @Drusilla ... Still early but, so far, absolutely nothing I haven't read multiple times before. That's so unexpected from this author!
