I really want to like this book, but it's painfully obvious that the author did not have an editor. Maybe I'm picky, but the paragraphs being left aligned instead of justified makes it difficult to read in many places. Additionally, there's a lot of switches in tense, and things that don't seem to flow well. She's laying there for hours when she thinks she's being chased? Then throws up? The run on sentences too...

We get it, the goblin is a hot little horn dog. Please stop rubbing our noses in it every other page. It's not even foreshadowing at this point. It's giving "oh no, I ordered pizza and don't have any money... How EVER can I pay you?" Iykyk

The blatant infantalization of our so far nameless main character is giving a little bit of ick, not to mention so many concepts that clash it makes my head spin...
I get wanting to be eloquent and precise when writing, but that doesn't mean you throw a thesaurus at your book. It becomes burdensome to read after a while.
