Finally back into reading this book after a multi-year hiatus; god, the arcturus prints just turn me off reading.
Just read the first chapter/entry and despite the fact I know the whole plot, I am in suspense. I also just find it silly and goofy his descriptions of other countries’ people, written in the POV of an english man by an irish man.

Oh yes a safety pin. Really can’t tell if Lucy and Mina have bromance chemistry or are actually secretly gay. Tbh I think the usage of pretty could’ve also just changed throughout time.
