I suppose I owe Henry James an apology, it’s just the Turn of the Screw that I didn’t like, the Aspern Papers is actually very compelling and well written. He just forgot how to use full stops instead of commas between this and the Turn of the Screw? (or maybe this is more harshly edited?).
