The characters are all extreme archetypes. The female characters are all stereotypes and the mature characters aren’t much better. There isn’t a single character to like. I think Nora is the main character only because the series is masked after her but I don’t care if she dies. This is a rough read and I wouldn’t finish it weren’t for book club.

I can’t explain it, but this book feels amateurish. The writing is not very rich and feels very basic. I’m not a fan of lots of flourishes and wordy descriptions but this one just seems to be missing something.
