Starting again because I stopped reading the book and forgot the plot yet again. Felt intelligent when I caught the foreshadowing seconds before the explosion though.

I feel like nothing is happening

The emo kid has made his appearance and I love him so much, he's fucking hilarous. An icon. He slays everytime he opens his mouth. Also I'm loving the dynamic between him and Theo.

25 september update: The beggining of the book was very slow and I didn't understand what was happening half of the time (though I think I have that problem with a lot of books). I reached a point where everything goes smoother and I'm quite starting to enjoy it. I specially like the vibe it gives off. However, I still don't know how to feel about the book. I kind of like it and dislike at the same time but we'll see
