Back at reading to distract myself. The first part is a very interesting summary of living conditions in England in the 16th/17th century with notes on medicinal practices, common threats to life etc, the part i’m on now discusses pre-reformation Christianity and it’s rituals/‘healing’ practices. Very interesting :)
