The world building in this book is pretty darn creepy! She can be basically sold off to a group of men as their wife!? She's expected to stay version and get married at a very young age? Creepy!

LoL. They are standard last minute Mother's Day flowers here. Lots of buckets on the side of the road with folks selling them. It would strike me as a gift with not much thought

I've seen them as growing plants for Mother's Day. But I've never seen anyone pick them for a bouquet! It seems like such a weird flower to give to a romantic partner that you're trying to Woo.
