I feel like there’s too many moving pieces and not enough context. We know Daffyd is a dragon who was betrayed by those who raised him, but we don’t know why. Angel and Daffyd are really attracted to each other, and because I read book 1 I realize they’re true mates, but this isn’t obvious if you haven’t read book 1. I’m very frustrated and would like things to pick up the pace soon or I might DNF
