I am just picking this book back up :>
This author speaks in a very confusing way, I thought at first. However, what he’s saying is really simple if I’m understanding it correctly.
Everything I know is a perspective or perception of reality told through my own experience and lies I know. The lies being whatever programming instilled in me from a child to now.

At first I thought he was saying EVERYTHING our inner voice says is wrong and it shouldn’t be trusted which takes away intuition and actual truth about our own emotions, but it’s not what he’s saying.
I think he’s saying that everything we think should be considered and shown skepticism. If it survives that, then it may be our truth. But everything is just a perception of what reality is.
I find it so interesting he calls people’s lives, thoughts, and experiences “stories.” But it makes sense that everyone has their own story and that one story won’t be true for the next.
I also like this, because it’s making it easier for me to not take everything so personally. If someone says something to me that isn’t pleasant— I can look within and see if I agree with their statement about myself. I dont have to believe everything everyone says about me, because it’s just their perception of me. However… I do believe how others view you is a good way to identify if you’re acting with integrity and with a kind heart. But i guess that’s up for you to decide with yourself.
Very interesting information, very interesting information.
