I'm sure Mitch has done something to Ethan, that he has spent weeks setting Ethan up to act as an unwitting sleeper agent for him. It makes me sick, the one ray of hope I cling to is that Ethan has been trying to alienate Waverly, and I'm sure that's the opposite of what Mitch wants.

I'm starting to think the next trilogy (The Starborn Uprising) picks up right where this book ends, despite it being set some 57-odd years in the future...
