WHY would anyone ever lie to their friends about the fact that someone was their former fiancée? This premise is simply unbelievably annoying to me. It’s so so stupid to think you need to lie to all your closest friends about a detail like that! Just say, “we used to be engaged and it ended badly. I don’t want to talk about it.”
