Currently listening to fantastic by king princess while playing a little gay dancing scene in my head of me and my future wife. Me (a vampire book reader) and my future wife (fairy, mermaid, goblin, mage, idc as long she my wife).
I need more fantasy wlw recommendations that ARE NOT slow burn. I’m heavily impatient and I want the romance NOW. (Jk, please recommend whatever)

“This is How You Lose the Time War” is a novella so while it is a slow burn it doesn’t take too long to get to the romance. That said I found it really confusing for the first few chapters 😭 I’d also recommend Legends & Lattes, Crier’s War, Gideon the Ninth, and She Who Became the Sun. My sister read the last two and enjoyed them (I still have to get around to them 😅)

My favorite this year is probably Angels Before Man or The Saint of Heartbreak, but idk if either of them can really be classified as fantasy, maybe more Christian mythology?
Also my partner and I are so on board the Silver Under Nightfall hype train, the rampant bisexuality is incredible :D
