Absolutely great book so far, we have been learning about how ACT UP formed and the group within of artists titled Gran Fury. ACT UP was a coming together of only about 50 people until they put together a concentration camp float with the first display of the pink triangle being repurposed for queer liberation in the NYC Pride Parade in 1968. ACT UP gained 500+ members overnight. Gran Fury led art initiatives within.
