I am happy they’re together storywise but in real life I would tell these people maybe there’s better out there for both of them separately.

But an unexpected plus among the many I have forgotten is that having hid his most important passion Brock is afraid of rejection. He got a heavy dose of it growing up and avoiding that criticism and undercutting is partially why he keeps his foundation a secret. He’s very used to being secondary. So when our third act breakup occurs it’s all systems go. He bails fast.

on one hand Reagan is not a rich spawn. She wants a man who she knows will want the same things as her. Who won’t expect her to drop her life for his. And that is resoundingly a fair ask.

But Brock being told he’s only valuable after she finds out his secret is not cool either.

Like romance bks. there’s a lot of hot and cold from Reagan who gives into her attraction and retreats because he’s not like the dude she planned to pursue.
This goes on until her friend sleuths out Brock’s real background.

This my friends is where it gets both good and annoying.

a bunch of bridesmaids and groomsmen hang out the week prior to the wedding. Everyone’s pairing up and our gal Reagan plans to do the same. She picks a dude among the prospects and decides she’s going to get this dude. Except before she can get to that guy she runs into our dude Brock.

The attraction is there but he’s not up to her requirements. He is rich man’s son. Not particularly ambitious. A slacker
