Wow there’s so much info on just carbs, proteins, fats! I’m highlighting every paragraph at this point. But I learned more from here about a general well-balanced diet for all and the same changes to make while pregnant. This is literally the healthiest I’ve been in my life and I’ll just continue this “diet” as a lifestyle change. Very holistic.

The intro had me hooked already because I love studying nutrition, diets, exercise, lifestyle, etc. I should have started this earlier but 1st trimester nutrition isn’t as important as 2nd and 3rd trimesters. Plus, I already switched to a low-carb, keto diet and seen results within 2 weeks. This book is written from a scientific/factual approach on nutrient-rich Whole Foods versus “healthy” low calorie foods.
