It’s not terrible, but it’s boring. Way too much internal dialogue that’s unnecessary.

Got sucked in by the book description only to find out that the book and story is nothing like the book description in a review, so I’m taking my chances because it sounds tropey and I like the tropes that were mentioned. Could still be a bust tho, so we’ll see.
