This is an intriguing but very disturbing puzzle box of a book. It's barely this side of incoherent at times, with incredibly interesting narration choices, and many questions as to where and who and when the character(s?) are. Contains a very disturbing amount of sexual violence/sadism scenes, though avoiding graphic depictions. It's difficult to untangle disgust at much depicted with wanting to solve the puzzle.
