I think the main thing is that none of my fave characters are in this so I’m not invested in the story yet.

Coming back to this and the writing quality is so much better than what I’ve been reading lately it’s insane. However, I am a bit bored by the plot (hence the break in reading.)

Is the purpose of this book to make me side with the Norns? Because that is what’s happening

Taking a bit of time to get into, as is usually the case with Tad Williams books. I’m considering going back to reread the entire Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn series hahaha- but I’m not sure if I want to commit to thousands of pages rn

I don’t remember there ever being so much from the Norns POV in Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn. In fact, I’m pretty sure there were only rare parts from the Norn queen POV. I’m not sure how I feel about this. Every other chapter is Norn POV!
