If we aren’t sure in the perfection of our Father’s always-good love, we can’t become sure in our new identity as saints. If we can’t become sure in our new identity as saints, then we will need to have our behavior monitored. If we need to have our behavior monitored, we will need to serve a controlling God. This completely undermines the cross. I kid you not.

The fact is that if we truly encounter grace, we are transformed. If we truly know grace we will change the way we think, we will repent, ours minds will be renewed, we will be transformed and we won’t want to sin. Those that teach us that we can abuse grace don’t fully know grace. That teaching looks at grace through the lens of need, the measurements of earth. It dumbs grace down to a commodity that can be traded.

Authority and power is the perfection of His love. It operates from the measureless revelation of love. It looks like Jesus. It heals blind eyes, it cleanses lepers, it feeds the hungry, it clothes the poor, it raises the dead, it loves, it loves, it loves!

Our Father’s Kingdom is discovered in the unseen and is accessed through faith. This faith chooses to believe in the always-good love of our Father even when the evidence is unseen.

When we see our Father as He truly is, we are free to discover the authority of His love and to become sure in His love, secure in His goodness. Our authority is found when we see the true nature of our heavenly Father and then choose to both agree and align our hearts in that revelation.

His love is the perfection of His goodness and it’s always about freedom. And freedom looks like sons and daughters living powerfully in control of themselves and in all the authority of His love."

He lived miraculously, died selflessly, and rose powerfully, all so we might be restored back to our place in the family— as sons and daughters of God. All so we might have full access to our inheritance— the love nature of our Father."

The discovery of our Father’s nature transforms and empowers us to live as His sons and daughters. Jesus modeled this for us. He lived, died, and arose sure in His identity. And because He was sure in His, we can become sure in ours.

Jesus, God’s only Son, became Love in human form. Then He walked the earth sure in His Father’s love and He lived as the Father’s love perfectly revealed.

When I lean into this faith, when I live expecting His goodness regardless of my circumstances, then my heart is open for an encounter, a revelation, a new experience with the power of His love."
