I think the reason I don't remember this book is because the first 40% is not interesting to me at all. It is frustrating and boring and I am fighting the urge to skim.
I feel like I would have flagged a DNF if I did it, and some bits are coming back when I read it, but overall, too much going on while nothing is going on.
