This one might be usurping Killing Commendatore as my favorite Murakami novel. Let’s see how it ends before I make up my mind.

Stopping to say this man truly knows how to write. His prose is simple but beautiful. And that’s what I love about Murakami. I’ve had to pause several times this chapter to appreciate it.

Apparently the Kindle version’s pages are different than the hardback’s. In any case, here I am.
