The first hand accounts from interviews and the primary sources of Didion and Babitz’s writing is SO interesting but every time the author interjects I’m so deeply annoyed. This has become 50% I can’t put it down 50% a hate read. I genuinely appreciate the amount of work Liki Anolik put into this but girl PLEASE stop interjecting yourself.
