The return of ysandre! I still don't like her but I did find the way she stabbed Amelie very in character. I think the power shift has been coming for a while, and how it happened felt very natural. I find myself with this book being more interested in the vampires over the humans which I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not

So far, the book started off great until Claire killed a vampire, and then I got bored. I skipped a few chapters because I was that uninterested, and honestly, I truly believe this will be the weakest installment in the series.
