Nobody cares who we kiss at the end of the world by Leah Johnson
Firstly. I hated the narrator for this audiobook and I should have just read it physically. It was unpleasant. I just also didn’t like how Cooper didn’t seem to sense any of her anxieties and just shoved her along, and a personal thing I am. Way to anxious to just be shoved in a group of people who immediately start touching. Mmmm

I’m not sure if that’s the point but this one made me feel really existential and sad. Really nice.

This one was set in the near future which was an interesting choice. I also just disagree that art is timeless lol, that’s one of its beauties. I know the author was making both points but eh. I found myself kind of bored throughout and simply not caring.

Again, this one really deserves more time and space. It felt too rushed and so consequently I just started zoning out, which is sad because it had such potential.

This one was so cute! Just a little alien helping a girl confess her feelings <333 I do wish the ending wasn’t like that though, it made it feel like it was ‘all a dream’ which I didn’t like.

This one was sweet! It wasn’t focused on the sci-fi, even though that’s what I was most curious about. It was neat though, very self contained.

I just felt like this one didn’t have enough explanation. I liked the alternate timelines and the concept could have been really cool but it wasn’t explained at all so I was left without having much of a story.

This was really unique! The ghost trope is so rarely used in sci-fi I found it fascinating to have a more scientific lense of it! It was however a little rushed and I would have liked more of it (common since it’s a short story).

Ugh. This one just annoyed me. The plot twist and concept were cool I guess but I found it boring bad genuinely just wanted failure for the narrator so I was disappointed that he was happy (or going to be) at the end.
