Hadn't intended to read further tonight, but had a few minutes... Oh, that chapter (25)... Literally the last couple of lines. I thought this book was rage inducing so far, nothing, could have prepared me for the actual gut punch at the end of chapter 25.
I am not affected by this. I am not related to, nor do I know, anyone whose ancestors were affected by this. But I am so very angry.

I hadn't realised how young they still were. I thought like many other industrial illnesses, it affected them much later.
