As much as I love Louise’s writing, I am not a fan of this one. stopped at 70%. It seemed to have too much sexuality during a boy’s coming of age time at the same time that his mom was brutally raped. The native stories did not help with understanding or illustrating the themes in my opinion. I just could not finish.
