My friend group is doing a read so naturally I’m joining in, but starting from the beginning is HARD when I usually just skip straight to Heir of Fire because that’s where the real fun begins

I'm so glad Chaol isn't the main character in these books, otherwise I wouldn't even bother with them. Celaena deserves so much better than this selfish idiot. Luckily she realizes that in HoF.

It's still as captivating as it was the first time I read it. My boyfriend is sleeping with a pillow over his head so I can keep reading since my book light went out (and I have it in hardcover instead of on my Kindle)

After reading the Assassin's Blade I had to read the rest of them again. Celaena is one of my favorite heroines in all the novels I've read. I'm slowly falling for Chaol again, Dorian is still kinda skeevy, and I'm trying to forget that Rowan exists for now (it only makes it harder to like Chaol and Dorian in the beginning hah)
