Brilliant. With the weakest member (Lepidus) of the 2nd Triumvirate left discredited and powerless. It's now Octavius (Augustus) and Mark Antony left. It'll be around 5 years until the battle of Actium and the final act in Octavius/Augustus coming to power.

Antony certainly did lose his mind over Cleopatra in the last few years of his life. For someone who was a great military man, his desertion at Actium (and it was) was nothing short of scandalous. Leaving his legionnaires at the mercy of Octavius was terrible - no wonder most happily defected to the Octavians.

Augustus biography is worth endless reads. I remember being enthralled at the reality of what courses he took. He understood from very young the uses and avenues of power.
