In reference to ROM 12:1-2…”Notice the progression Paul reveals here. Offer yourselves to God! How? Renew your mind! That way you’ll know God’s will. Renewal is a matter of the heart, and it starts with the mind, with knowledge of God and his will. Knowledge about God leads to worship and formation, and worship and formation facilitate intimacy with God. On the flip side, idolatry and deformation facilitate relational distance. P75
