also the plot really moves. and she's not afraid to make big changes. I really like how she has the characters describe one another. the dialogue also cool.
under all that it's also just cool reading something written in english that so clearly comes from a different culture. like its so foreign but also recognizable.
main thing is that I really feel like she understood people, she created a bunch of them and let them go wild and was able to contain the story
