There isn't any substance to the book so far, that ignites the thoughts of mind-blowing fiction, but it's not terrible. It has it's moments where I feel invested, and then there are also the moments I want to slap this heroine upside the head. It has gone in a different way then what I thought it would, but not necessarily for the better. I am curious how this could be a whole series though...

When he still continues to sneak out to gaming hells and brothels? I really don't understand this couples chemistry. If there was more back story then I might believe this statement.

This is coming across to me as one of those f@#k first, speak later kind of books. There seems to be back story to the couple but god forbid I ever find characters who just TELL THE TRUTH! Has to my biggest pet peeve, but I guess misunderstandings make for great stories... I guess.
