The quality is really a mix so far for me. The third-odd story about a trip to the grocery store is followed by a really beautiful depiction of someone intellectualizing themselves into a life of loneliness. I've enjoyed the book overall, but I can't help to think that it would have been nice to cut a few of the repetitive stories in favor of further developing the unique ones.

My last summer of college, when I most strongly felt the weight of the unbridled world of possibility, I had thought I'd move to study in Dublin and join the human rights scene there. At the time, I thought my reasoning was altruistic. Reading this is making me realize I'm really just a hibernophile. It makes it hard to say if the book's objectively any good, since I'm living vicariously as I read ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
