Leithart defends a (partial) preterist interpretation of 2 Peter. This is probably the only biblical book with a major eschatological section for which I haven't read a preterist exegesis for.
Already being convinced of the position myself, I'm glad to see that Leithart tackled this. He is perhaps my favorite modern theologian.

Alongside Leithart, I too long for the day when Jesus's words in Matthew 24 would be so universally understood in their first century prophetic context that all non-preterists would be seen as weird and unbiblical.
Thankfully, living in the early church as we still are today, we still have 36,000+ thousand years or so to get it together. (Deut 7:4, but literally) ;)
