Sarah McCarry's writing is so wonderful. It's a little light on plot, but I've never minded character-driven narratives so that doesn't bother me much. I'd compare the prose to Laini Taylor or Maggie Stiefvater, with a smidge of Francesca Lia Block flair thrown in. High praise.
