Not very far in yet so I'm gonna hold off on a real recommendation! But it's project is ambitious and interesting, attempting to present an international view of Chinese labor and the gold rushes in California, Australia, and South Africa and the racist responses in each of those regions. Always like stuff that centers labor + racism cross-nationally like that.
