Marc *Dark Reader with a Thousand Young! Iä!*
Marc *Dark Reader with a Thousand Young! Iä!* is starting
Please please please let this be written by Jeff Grubb waaayyyy more than Ed Greenwood. Please let it just be Greenwood’s idea and that’s the end of his involvement.

Oh good, another chapter with these two over-jeweled gossiping biddies, Darlutheene Ambershields and Blaerla Roaringhorn, just what I needed.

Heiki Eesmaa Most of it definitely doesn't feel like Greenwood's writing.

message 2: by Phillip (new)

Phillip I definitely bounced off of this as a kid when I was looking for more fantasy books after finishing the Weiss and Hickman Dragonlance books. Saw a rad dragon on the cover and got a boring loredump.

Thank goodness. At 3 chapters in, I agree.

I can see that as a kid this would have reduced appeal, as a historical account of a fantasy setting. So far I'm enjoying it, although I'm only 10% into this, the longest Forgotten Realms novel to date (in publication order), so we'll see how long the enjoyment lasts.
